Write down the model of your computer, phone or tablet, together with the accessory you want to connect. Include the names of the ports shown in the manufacturer’s product information.
02. Be clear about the task.
Do you need charging, data transfer, a display connection or a combination of these? State the purpose in your enquiry. The specifications of the particular cable, hub and host device all need to be considered.
03. Check what is included.
Confirm whether a cable, adapter or power supply is included with the product you are considering. Note the length you need and any space constraints around your desk or travel bag.
